HEAD COACHES:
ETHAN KREUZER
Hi, my name is Ethan! I am Head Coach for swimming. I have been swimming for 15 years and started when I was 6 years old at the Westmount Dolphins. I have been a competitive winter swimmer since I was 9 years old and reached a national level, swimming at teams such as CALAC, Cote Saint Luc Aquatics and selected for the Quebec Team. What I look forward to most at the Westmount Dolphins is the chance to share my passion for swimming with other members of the community! This summer I hope to inspire my swimmers to get involved in the sport all year round! |
LEON IMMER Hi my name is Leon! I am very thrilled to be a Head Coach for Dolphins this summer after this long break! I started swimming at Dolphins 11 years ago, and have been swimming ever since. During the winter I swim competitively with the CSLA swim team, and I am also currently working as a lifeguard. I have returned to Dolphins every year because I really enjoy the unique and awesome atmosphere. I am really looking forward to a great summer with all of you :) |
ASSISTANT HEAD COACHES
ZOE IMMER

I learned to swim here back in 2013 and have been swimming competitively since 2014 at Westmount Barracudas and then at Cote Saint Luc Aquatics and Neptune Natation and competed at the Quebec Games. What I love most about our club is our team spirit during the meets which is what encourages me to come back on deck every summer. I am looking forward to meet and swim with you all! |
COACHES :
MAYA AKERMAN
Hi, my name is Maya and this is my second season coaching at the Westmount Dolphins. I trained competitively at the Westmount YMCA and Côte Saint-Luc Aquatics centre, and I have also been a member of the Westmount Dolphins swim team for more than 10 years! What I love most about Dolphins is the strong sense of community at practices all summer, and especially during swim meets every Wednesday. This summer, I am looking forward to meeting all of you and spending an amazing time together!! |
OSCAR CRUZ
Hello! I’m Oscar and this is going to be my first season coaching for the dolphins. I have been swimming competitively for about 13 years, and my first team was the dolphins in the old pool. An achievement in swimming for me is that I went twice to the Age Group National Swimming Championships of Canada. In terms of school, I have finished Cegep this year and am going to McGill in bioengineering. As for this summer, my goal is to create a fun environment at the team so everyone on the team can enjoy the summer and possibly take up the sport during the winter. |
MACKENZIE LYNESS-POLSON
Hi my name is Mackenzie! I am very excited to be coaching with the Westmount Dolphins! This will be my second season coaching with the team that I began swimming with when I was five! I have also been a competitive swimmer, since the age of eight when I started with the Westmount 'Y' Barracudas and thereafter with the Côte St. Luc and Côte-des-Neiges/NDG winter swim teams, respectively. What I look forward to most is sharing my passion for swimming and creating awesome new Dolphin summer memories with all of you!!! |

IRIS POULIOT
Hi, my name is Iris! I’m thrilled to be coaching the dolphins swim team this summer! My first memories as a swimmer are with ALPS during the summer practices and swim meets and that’s when I grew a strong passion for swimming. I have been swimming competitively for about 13 years now. I progressed a lot as a swimmer, to the point where I got the opportunity to swim on the Quebec team and to attend multiple national competitions all around Canada. I’ve also coached other swim teams in the past and have given a lot of swimming lessons. Throughout this summer season, my goal is to create a fun learning environment and to share my passion with the swimmers. |
AVA SEIRAFI
Hi my name is Ava and this is my first year coaching at Westmount Dolphins. I first learned to swim here more than 10 years ago, so I can proudly say that I consider this team my second home. I started competitively swimming with Westmount Barracudas in 2013 and then continued to train at Cote Saint Luc Aquatics. What I look forward to the most this summer is sharing my passion for this sport and enjoying a great summer with everyone! |
LUIZA TATAR
Hi, my name is Luiza, and I am in the International Baccalaureate Health Science program at Collège Jean-de-Brébeuf! I am honoured to be a first-time coach for the Westmount Dolphins who taught me how to swim at 5. I’ve been a Dolphin swimmer for 8 years, 4 of which I played water polo. In winters I swam semi-competitively for the YM-YWHA. Swimming with the Dolphins taught me the balance between physical activity and fun within a tight-knit community. This summer, I am excited to share my love for aquatic sports and meet a lot of new Dolphins! |
