COUNTDOWN TO SUMMER…

The last time you heard from us we were just heading into winter with an icy splash in the new pool.  Now we are waiting for the ice to melt so that we can fill that pool once again and make an even bigger splash with our 2014 season!

We are really excited about what is in store: a beautiful new facility; a fabulous group of coaches including returning favourites: Sky, Caroline, Laura, Kevin, Adrienne and Hannah; an exciting array of new programming and some wonderful special events for us to showcase our talent and love of the water.

Have a look at the calendar and peruse the summer months to see all the activities that are already planned.  Download your registration form in the registration section so you will
be ready on REGISTRATION NIGHT: Wednesday April 23 from 6pm-8pm.  We look forward to seeing you all there!

Invite your neighbours and friends who you think might love to get involved with the Dolphins…we have so much to offer this season, there is something for everyone!  
 
Parents, take note, the City will also be offering “Masters” programming with a coach during the morning and evening adult swim, so if you want to take the plunge, you might consider this as your chance to try swimming just like your kids do!  You can sign up at Sports and Recreation or on April 23.  Space is limited.

Mark these dates on your calendars:  Saturday June 21 and Saturday August 16.  On June 21 Westmount will celebrate the start of summer with the Westmount Recreation Centre (WRC) Aquatics Festival which will be an important final fundraiser towards the WRC Capital Campaign.  On August 16 the Dolphins play host to the 22 ALPS pools at the ALPS Finals.  We will need all of you to help make these special days a success.

We just can’t wait to get back in the warm water of Westmount!
