In just a few weeks ALPS will be offering some swimming officials clinics.  If you would like to participate here is the information that you will need:

ALPS 2014
Referee clinic  

WHAT:  Referee Clinic

WHEN:  Thursday, June 12th

            Registration 6:30pm
            Clinics start at 7:00pm

WHERE:  Cedar Park Pool

WHY:     To help all interested officials learn about becoming a referee in the ALPS                 summer swim meets

HOW:     If possible, all interested parents should register in advance by e-mail to                 Lynn Bourdeau at lbourd@hotmail.com

OFFICIALS’ CONFERENCE  

WHAT:   Mini Clinics (50 minutes each) covering:

-         Timer/Chief Timer

-         Place Judge/Chief Finish Judge

-         Stroke and Turn Judge

-         Meet Manager

-         Starter

-         Excel score sheet - Recorder/Scorer (1 hr, 50 minutes)

WHEN:    Wednesday, June 18th

               Registration 6:30pm
               Clinics start at 7:00pm

 WHERE:  TBA

 WHY:     To help all interested volunteers to participate in ALPS summer swim                     meets


HOW:     If possible, all interested parents should register in advance by e-mail to Lynn Bourdeau at lbourd@hotmail.com   Please specify which clinics you wish to attend. You can take 3 different clinics on the evening (or 2 if you are doing the Excel SCORER session).

We hope that you will consider participating in one of these clinics so that you may more fully participate in your child's sport and enjoy getting to know other parents in our league!  It is a great way to see your child's competitions right in the center of the action!

Hi Dolphins Families,

Are you ready for a fun summer of swimming?

To our returning Dolphins families great to see you again and to our new Dolphin families welcome to a great group.

As mentioned during our registration night, should you need swimwear you will need to order through our supplier’s website. Not sure about a size you can call him or you can go to Sport Experts to determine the right size. Remember competitive bathing suits have to be tighter to reduce the possibility of water flow through which will slow a swimmer down.

Once there go to the top right hand corner you will see Team store log-in. Click and you will be directed to the next page where you will enter the following:

Username: dolphins

Password: getwet

Order must be placed by May 11 to ensure delivery for June 15.

If you have not given in your t-shirt sizing for your child for the complimentary team t-shirt you should also get that information in to me by May 11.
