We are coming to the final week of planning and prepping for the biggest event of our season: hosting the ALPS Swimming Finals. Although only a small number of our team will be eligible to swim we need all Dolphin Families who are in town to help out. We still need volunteers so please don't hesitate to sign up on the documents we have sent you before or contact Susan Byck, our volunteer coordinator: firstname.lastname@example.org.

Many of you have been asking clarification about food donations. We have asked for your support in this way because it helps us raise money to cover the costs of this expensive event.
FOOD DONATIONS FOR THE OFFICIALS
This is not our bakesale. These items are being donated to ensure that we don't go to undue expense for the meals we must provide free of charge to the Officials and Volunteers who are working all day.
THESE ITEMS MUST BE DELIVERED ON FRIDAY AUGUST 15 (8am-12noon and 5pm-9pm)

We have asked for two types of items for the bakesale. You can bring whichever type of item you would prefer or both if you are feeling ambitious or generous. We will not refuse anything you bring.
The types of items we are looking for:
muffins, coffee cakes, croissants, danishes, chocolatines, oranges, bananas, apples
MUST BE DELIVERED FRIDAY AUGUST 15 (8am-12noon and 5pm-9pm)
cookies, cupcakes, candy bags, fruit kebabs, candy kebabs, brownies, freezies, watermelon slices
May be delivered Friday BUT MUST ARRIVE BEFORE 10am SATURDAY AUGUST 16
